Position:
Work-package Engineer (Contract)
Responsible for managing the specification, design, tendering, build and completion of a range of modules such as Hydraulic Power Units, Chemical Injection Skids, Sub-sea Control Modules and there respective Test Stands, with individual package values up to £3 million. Experience also gained with Umbilicals/Jumpers and Sub-sea Distribution Units, duties as follows:
Management of design teams, supervision of contractors, project planning and carrying out negotiations with suppliers; ensuring that each contract was successfully delivered on time.
Coordination of each project in terms of resolving technical problems, dealing with sub-contractors, liaison with commissioning teams and supporting the handover process with the client.
Assigned to a number of ailing projects to resolve technical and commercial problems and to ensure that the contracts came in within budget and to original deadlines, which was successfully achieved.
