Position:

Snr. Project Engineer / Project Manager (Staff)

 

Develop and execute decommissioning projects within the Tradebe Scotoil business.

Execution of decommissioning projects from start to completion - preparation and submission of Tenders, Contract management, liaising with Harbour Authorities, Operators, Tier 1 contractors and other supply chain companies.

Key Activities:

  • Effective leadership of decommissioning Projects to ensure Customers’ expectations and targets are met.

  • Preparation and submission of Decommissioning Tenders.

  • Creation and compilation of Project Execution Plans (PEP) inclusive of Method Statements, Procedures and Risk Assessments.

  • Liaise with relevant Scotoil personnel to ensure Projects are completed successfully and on time.

  • Where applicable, there will be a requirement to oversee and arrange quayside operations for individual Projects (example logistics and craneage).

  • Liaise with waste management companies to ensure waste is recycled/reused where possible in line with Environmental legislation.

  • Occasional support to site engineering and maintenance activities.

  • Demonstrate appropriate Health & safety leadership to ensure that the corporate PROUD message is visible and complied with throughout all project activities.

  • Build, develop and manage business relationships with Oil & Gas Operators and Tier 1 supply chain companies – arrange regular meetings, phone calls, emails and provide PowerPoint presentations where necessary.

  • Understand and anticipate Customer requirements and provide a product or service that best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery.

  • In conjunction with Contracts manager, negotiating Tender and Contract terms to meet both client and company needs.
