Position:
Project / Hydraulic Controls Engineer (Contract):
Primarily contracted to design and project manage the control system for Oil States Industries (UK) Ltd’s only Drilling Riser Rental System.
Management of client / vendor working relationships, as well as internal stakeholder management played a key role in ensuring a seamless transition of services that gave rise to change of contracts and services.
Interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills had to be effectively engaged both internally and externally to ensure deadlines and targets were met / exceeded.
Directing Oil States on the mandatory requirements of the EU Directives was a further skill set which I had to engage with to ensure projects were delivered safe and legal.
