Position:

Senior Project Engineer (Contract)

 

Initially contracted as a Project Engineer on the Cawthorne Light Oil Metering Skid, I was rapidly promoted to Senior Project Engineer due to my proven knowledge across multiple disciplines in identifying improvements to Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation and Control systems.  While negotiating with transportation companies, I secured significant savings which were favourable to the project budget.

 

Through successful completion of the Cawthorne project in a safe manner and within budget, the team were appointed a challenging project in order to reduce the risk to the company.  

 

Responsibilities included:

 

• Responsibility for meeting all engineering design, specifications and standards whilst ensuring fit for purpose, cost effective reliable and safe packaging design. 

• Technical evaluation of allocated project activities, identify problem areas and deviations and clarify these through effective communication with Project managers and customer. 

• Generate Project Engineering and Design documentation as required. 

• Regularly monitor and ensure sub-supply orders are ordered and delivered to the agreed specifications. 

• Prepare project installation, operation, maintenance and safety manual. 

• Provide commissioning support where required (Onshore /Offshore).

• Support technical requirements and queries.
