Position:

Senior Project Engineer (Contract)

 

Initially a short 8-week contract in Dubai to write Detailed Work Procedures (DWPs) for both Air and Saturation Diving scopes off the SMIT Komodo covering Dubai Petroleum Establishment assets. Feedback from colleagues was that it was great to finally have someone that knows what they are doing on the team. Responsibilities included, but not limited to:

• Detailed Work Procedures 

• Lift Plans 

• Decommissioning of subsea assets 

• IRM 

 

Reason for leaving: A back to back rotation position was agreed (6/6 rotation) however the following day it was announced that the client had taken on a staff Project Engineer and that my back to back and I were no longer required however, on return to the UK I was approached by Boakalis Aberdeen office where I have been engaged on an additional short campaign for Subsea Tree and Manifold Intervention scopes for Perenco in the Southern North Sea.
