Contracted for part-time work to assist in Business Development by contacting new clients to arrange for introduction meetings.  As a successful Senior Project Engineer covering many disciplines, I was able to relate to the potential clients Operations and Project Managers and achieved a high return rate for successful meetings.  I also secured discount levels with suppliers which were favourable to SengS.  

 

Due to a severe shortage in staffing levels, my workload soon developed to include Project Management, Goods Receipt Inspection, Project Design Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Procurement and Expediting.  

I was responsible for the detailed hydraulic design, component selection, component procurement, budget and layout of the 16 Function X-mas Tree rental test panel (see photo).
